Mitchell 1 - Tablet Configuration

Step 1: Initial Tablet Set Up

  • Ensure tablet is fully charged and all required updates are complete.

  • Power on tablet and make sure it’s connected to password protected Wi-Fi.

  • (Optional) Set up Google account on each tablet to enhance your overall experience.

To enable seamless remote support from our Bolt On Technology support team, we kindly request you download the “Rescue + Mobile for Android” application after signing into your Google account. This application will facilitate direct assistance for a smooth and efficient troubleshooting experience.


Step 2: Mobile Manager Installation

  • Open Google Chrome. In the address bar, type the following link: the14.me/mm and press “Enter” to proceed.

  • After being redirected to the download site, you may encounter a warning message. Click on the “Download Anyway” button to initiate the download process.

  • Once the download is complete, if a pop-up window appears asking for confirmation to open the file, select “Open.” If no pop-up appears, navigate to the folder where the file was saved and double click to open

  • Select “Install” option and wait a few minutes for the installation to complete.

  • There may be an additional pop up warning with the option to select the “Got it” button. However, please look for a “More Details” or “Learn More” option- this will give you the ability to select “Install Anyways” which will complete to download.

Step 3: Configure Mobile Settings on Host Computer

 

Please note that you will only be able to connect the tablet(s) to Mobile Manage Pro via your host computer and not the workstations.

  • From the host computer, launch Propack application, select “Report Pro” then “Settings” from the top navigation bar

  • From “Settings” look for and click on “Mobile Config”. Windows may require permission to continue, if it does, allow it. Once this occurs, a new window with a QR code will be displayed, leave this window up.

  • From your tablet, launch Mobile Manager app. Click on the three horizontal lines in the left hand corner to access menu. Select “Settings”

    • Click “Scan Settings Code”

    • Aim the tablet's camera at the QR Code on the host PC to automatically retrieve the necessary configuration settings.

  • Still on the settings page for Mobile Manager Pro, you also have the ability to select your repair information service.

    • Scrolling down from the top until you get to where it says “Repair Information”- make a selection from the options provided: ProDemand, ALLDATA, or ShopKey Pro.
